On October 17, the Kletsk region will host the first oblast’s competition among young ploughmen, BelTA learnt from Svetlana Bildiukevich, an official of the youth department of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee. According to her, more than 20 ploughmen under 31 years old have already passed through the regional competitions. During the competition which will be held on October 17, the ploughmen will demonstrate their knowledge of agricultural machinery. The jury panel will evaluate the preparation of a tractor for the work and adjustment of a plough. The competitions will be held using tractors MTZ-1523. On October 17, the Kletsk region will also host oblast’s competitions of young milkmen. Some 22 participants of the competition will compete in disassembly and assembly of milking machine units, the technology of machine milking. Winners of the competitions will be awarded valuable prizes. According to Svetlana Bildiukevich, the professional competitions are not only the propaganda of advanced experience and know-how but they attract the young people to work in the agricultural sector of the economy. The competition will be organized by the youth department of the Mink Oblast Executive Committee, the committee for agriculture and foodstuffs, the Minsk Oblast Committee of Trade Unions of Agricultural Workers, the Belarus National Union of Youth.
