Around 3.000 trade union contracts have been concluded in the Minsk oblast, Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Association of Trade Unions Konstantin Khvenko noted during the solemn session timed to the 50th anniversary of the Minsk Oblast Trade Unions Council. The major part of the workers of the Minsk oblast work for the organizations which use trade union contracts. “The contract concluded between the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, the National Union of Employers and the Minsk Oblast Association of Trade Unions is the most efficient form of protection of rights and interests of union members. Some 8 oblast and 71 regional contracts were concluded in the Minsk oblast,” Konstantin Khvenko said. The Minsk Oblast Association of Trade Unions includes 12 oblast sectoral trade unions, 92 sectoral regional executive committees, 14 regional trade union committees, 22 territorial coordination councils of representatives of trade union committees.
