MINSK, April 24 (BelTA) – In January-February this year, companies of the Minsk oblast exported goods at the amount of $365.1 million, BelTA learnt from the Minsk Oblast Statistics Department. As against the same period last year, the export downed by 57.7%, import – by 43.5%. Over the two months, the foreign trade hit $711 million, down 51.8%. The Minsk oblast posted a surplus in trade at the amount of $19.2 million. The Minsk oblast reduced the supplies of potash fertilisers by 69.8%, oil products – by 55.8%, trucks – by 66.1%. In January-February this year, trade organizations of the region traded with 100 countries. The main trade partners were the Russian Federation (36.8% of the total trade), India (9.7%), the Netherlands (5.9%), Ukraine (5.6%), Germany (5.5%), China (3.8%), Poland (2.3%), Colombia (1.7%), Venezuela (1.7%).
