MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – Former farmsteads of the Minsk oblast are looking for investors. Those, who wish to renew the architectural monuments, can take part in the reconstruction of nine objects included into the list of historical and cultural values of Belarus, BelTA learnt from Svetlana Baranok, deputy head of the culture department of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee. The list includes the Palace and Park Complex of the Slavitsky Family (Rovanichi village, Cherven region), the remains of the estates in villages Nadneman (Uzda region), Sula (Stolbtsy region), Zalyadye (Slutsk region), Bobrovnya (Kopyl region), Vorovskoi and Staroborisov (Borisov region), Staiki (Vileika region). The post station building in Slutsk is planned to be transformed into a cultural and tourist complex. A lot of objects are in poor condition but they can become interesting for tourists if managed correctly, Svetlana Baranok. For example, the farmstead in Staroborisov first belonged to the Radzivill family, then to the Grand Dukes Romanovs. Napoleon stayed there once. The farmstead was once a rich palace with the collections of weapons, coins, and works of art. All that has survived since then is a park, a lime lane, ponds, a front yard with a stone side wing and a commemorative boulder. Investors can turn the former farmsteads into agricultural ecological estates, cultural and tourist complexes or roadside service objects, Svetlana Baranok noted. БЕЛТА
