MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Belarus does its best to develop the motorway service in the country, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said in an interview to the Minskaya Volna Radio Station on 8 April. According to Vladimir Andreichenko, Belarus has developed the special legal framework, changed the tax legislation, adopted the Special Part of the Tax Code. Starting 1 January, those who are engaged in the motorway service are exempt from payment of taxes on profits for five years, taxes on real estate – for two years. “I believe that the adopted measures will give good results in the near future,” Vladimir Andreichenko noted. According to the official, in 2009 the number of road cafes increased by 55 facilities, 26 filling stations and 29 gas stations were built. “Recently Belarus has made a lot to develop the motorway service: preferential loans are granted, the land allocation order has been simplified, the local authorities were granted the right to reduce the land tax two times,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.
