MINSK, 4 February (BelTA) – Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ trademark) set up ten service centers for its equipment abroad in 2010, BelTA learned from the company. New centers were opened in Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Iran. On the whole, BelAZ’ network comprises 65 service and distributing companies, with 42 of them being certified for BelAZ requirements. BelAZ holds 75% to 100% stake in its CIS centers. The company has so far opened 20 services centers in the non-CIS countries. Specialized service centers have been opened in the large regions which purchase quarry equipment. Among them are Kuzbass-BelAZ-Service and Kazaskhtan BelAZautoservice. Such centers have been also opened in Ukraine. There are BelAZ specialists in the regions which import the Belarusian quarry equipment and yet have no service centers. Thus, there are over 20 BelAZ specialists in Australia, Venezuela, Mongolia, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Chile. A total number of specialists working abroad exceeds 800, with 556 in the CIS and 267 in the non-CIS countries. In 2010, the company trained 225 engineering specialists.
