KYIV, 2 November (BelTA) – In January-September 2011 the trade between Belarus and Ukraine almost reached the 2010 level, making up $4.439 billion, BelTA learnt from the trade and economic group of the Belarusian embassy in Ukraine. The mutual trade grew 45.7% on the same time last year. Belarus’ exports to Ukraine totaled $2.935 billion, up 63.3%, the imports made up $1.504 billion, up 20.3%. Belarus posted trade surplus of $1.431 billion. According to the 2011 forecast, the Belarusian-Ukrainian trade is expected to exceed the pre-crisis 2008 level (nearly $5 billion). In 2010 the bilateral trade almost reached $4.5 billion (148.9% to the previous year), with Belarus’ trade surplus of $700 million. БЕЛТА
