MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) - Industrial cooperation and several other issues are high on the agenda of the visit of a Altai delegation headed by Altai Krai Vice Governor Vitaly Ryapolov to Belarus on 5-9 June, spoeskman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Andrei Savinykh said at a press briefing, BelTA learnt. The delegation is in Belarus to participate in Belagro 2012. A meeting of Belarus-Altai Krai commission took place on 7 June. The commission is co-chaired by Vice-Governor Vitaly Ryapolov and First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko. The parties discussed industrial and agricultural cooperation. Belarusian exports of agricultural and forestry equipment and processed agricultural products to Altai Krai were also on the agenda. The meeting resulted in signing of an action plan for 2012-2013. The head of the Altai Krai delegation is scheduled to meet with Chairman of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee Semyon Shapiro and visit some enterprises of Grodno Oblast. In 2011 Belarus-Altai Krai trade made up $84 million, up 1.3 times as against 2010. Belarusian export made up $32.2 million. Belarusian import amounted to $51.8 million, up 2.1 times. Belarus had a deficit of $19.6 million in trade with Altai Krai. In Q1 2012 Belarus-Altai Krai trade went up by 12.1% as against the same period last year to reach $25 million. Belarusian export rose by 3.4% to $9 million. Belarusian import amounted to $16 million, up 17.6%. Belarus had a trade deficit of $7 million. БЕЛТА
