MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Railways has assigned additional trains for the period of Christmas and New Year celebration, the Belarusian Railways press service told BelTA. Additional trains have been scheduled for 6, 7, and 8 January for Belarus-Russia transportation. Additional train No. 210 Minsk-Moscow will leave Minsk at 19:54 on 6 January and 7 January to arrive in Moscow at 8:00 on 7 January and 8 January. Train No. 410 Minsk-Moscow has been scheduled for 8 January. It will leave Minsk at 23:37 to arrive in Moscow at 09:37 on 9 January. Additional train No. 209 will leave Moscow at 16:50 on 9 January. The press service said that Belarusian Railways will continue working to offer passenger transportation services during the celebration of Christmas and New Year. There are plans to schedule new additional trains, BelTA has been told. The press service also said that due to the increased passenger traffic and the popularity of the direction Minsk-Vilnius as from 22 December 2012 till 18 May 2013 additional train No. 201/202 will be available on Saturdays and Sundays before the new train schedule comes into force. Train No. 201 Minsk-Vilnius will leave Minsk at 8:17 to arrive in Vilnius at 10:45. Train No. 202 will leave Vilnius at 18:55 to arrive in Minsk at 23:33. At present two pairs of trains are used for Minsk-Vilnius transportation – No. 15/16 and No. 37/38. БЕЛТА
