The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) invites Indonesia to organize a national exhibition of goods in Belarus in 2014-2015. The issue was discussed at the meeting of BCCI Chairman Mikhail Myatlikov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to Russia and Belarus (concurrently) Djauhari Oratmangun, BelTA learnt from the BCCI. The parties discussed further cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and Indonesia, ways to intensify cooperation between Belarusian and Indonesian businessmen. Mikhail Myatlikov suggested considering an opportunity to organize an exhibition of Indonesian goods in Belarus in 2014-2015. The BCCI head also suggested organizing joint visits of Indonesian businessmen to Russia and Belarus with the attendance of the economic forum in Saint Petersburg or to Lithuania and Belarus with a visit to the port in Klaipeda. According to Mikhail Myatlikov, it is advisable to hold the visit during the agricultural expo Belagro in early June 2014. Indonesian businessmen will get an opportunity to get familiar with a wide range of Belarusian agricultural equipment and products and take part in a business matchmaking session that is due to be organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The diplomat expressed interest in such visits and noted that the embassy is ready to assist, jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Indonesia, the establishment and development of contacts between businessmen of the two countries.
