Belarus, Poland talk over bilateral, multilateral cooperation

Belarus-Poland bilateral and multilateral cooperation was discussed in a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alexander Guryanov and his Polish counterpart Katarzyna Kacperczyk in Bialystok, BelTA has learned. The parties considered a wide range of issues related to cross-border cooperation and the forthcoming meeting of the Belarusian-Polish commission. Alexander Guryanov and Katarzyna Kacperczyk also talked over the organization of bilateral ministerial consultations and economic projects between Belarus and Poland, and cooperation in the WTO. The consultations took place as part of the second forum of twin towns of Belarus and Poland which is underway in Bialystok on 15-16 May. The Belarusian delegation is led by member of the Council of the Republic, Chairman of the Belarusian organization Twin Towns Boris Batura. Belarus and Poland are discussing cooperation in housing and utilities, transportation and other fields, as well as possible cooperation projects in culture, sport and tourism.
