Belarus' Embassy in Pakistan will open in 2014, reads Resolution No.455 of the Council of Ministers as of 14 May 2002 published on the national legal Internet portal, BelTA has learned. The decision to open the embassy was made in accordance with paragraph 8 of the regulations on diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Belarus approved by President's Decree No. 247 as of 9 July 1996. The Council of Ministers instructed the Finance Ministry to finance the expenses on the opening and maintaining of the embassy within the amount of expenditures set aside for the Foreign Ministry in the national budget for the opening and maintenance of diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad.
