The efforts to expand the bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and investments will be discussed at the 12th session of the Belarus-Germany working group in Berlin on 26 June. The group operates within the framework of the Belarus-Germany Economic Cooperation Council, Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Mironchik told reporters on 19 June, BelTA has learnt. The Belarusian delegation will be led by Director of the Department for Foreign Economic Activity of the Foreign Ministry Igor Nazaruk; the German delegation will be led by head of the office for cooperation with Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia at the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy Andreas Neumann. The Belarusian delegation will include representatives of the Foreign Ministry, Economy Ministry, the National Agency for Investment and privatization, Belarusbank, Bank BelVEB, the Belarusian Embassy in Germany. The participants of the session will discuss key areas of the bilateral economic cooperation, including trade in goods, investments, standardization and certification, energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources.
