On 31 July Belarus paid $43.75 million in a regular coupon yield to the five-year eurobond holders, BelTA learnt from the Finance Ministry of Belarus. Belarus' placement of eurobonds for $600 million with 8.75% APR coupon rate completed in early August 2010. “The issue captured the attention of a wide circle of investors from various regions. Applications for the participation were received from 145 investors to the total amount of $1.5 billion,” the Finance Ministry said. Coupon yield is paid every six months, in February and August. According to the Finance Ministry, the eurobonds were listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. Leading organizers of Belarus' Eurobonds issue were BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Sberbank of Russia. White & Case acted as legal advisors of the issue on behalf of Belarus, Allen & Overy and Magisters on behalf of banks-organizers.
