Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko extended Christmas greetings to the Orthodox Christians, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“This fair holiday brings hope and strengthens faith in a better future. It symbolizes the triumph of true spirituality and humanity, glorifies the noble ideals of humanism and mercy. For many people Christmas promotes eternal values. It miraculously unites kith and kin in a great mission of bringing up the younger generation,” the message reads.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that the family gives every person a happy and unforgettable feeling of warmth and care, the family teaches every person to work, create and be confident in the future.
“May Christmas celebrations give you the light of high spirituality, good mood and wonderful memories. May your hearts be full of force of life. May wellbeing and prosperity, trust and understanding reign in every home,” the Belarusian President said.
