China will provide Belarus with technical and economic assistance for social housing construction projects. The relevant intergovernmental agreement was signed in Beijing on 29 September 2016, BelTA informs.
Under the document, the Chinese government will provide Belarus with technical and economic assistance to the total tune of RMB300 million ($44.6 million) for the implementation of the country's social housing construction project.
ASB Belarusbank and China Development Bank will jointly open interest and commission-free accounts in Chinese yuans.
The agreement came into effect on 29 September.
