Following instructions from the Belarus President Administration, the
National Legal Internet Portal (pravo.by) and Belarus' Legal Forum
(forumpravo.by) have launched a discussion of issues related to
entrepreneurship and other economic activities, BelTA has learned.
The discussion is aimed at detecting excessive requirements that
economic entities are subject to, and also at improving the controls and
monitoring activities.
The National Legal Internet Portal is gathering relevant ideas and
suggestions. For this purpose, it has set up a page on its website that
provides feedback to the proposals, and Belarus' Legal Forum has a
special section for discussing the matter. The public and
representatives of economic entities can use these tools to submit for
discussion their ideas and proposals to help reduce the number of
inspections and reasons for conducting them, improve the procedure for
inspection activities, ensure transparency of the inspection process,
establish proper mechanisms for the protection of entities under
inspection, including in the part of contesting inspection decisions,
excessive administrative and other barriers hampering business
operations, the presence of outdated and unjustified technical and other
requirements that entail additional expenses and are not aimed at
ensuring the security and safety of people, and protection of companies'
property.
The ideas and suggestions can be submitted until 20 March.
