Belarus and Slovakia signed 10 documents on cooperation in various
fields during the official visit of Belarus Prime Minister Andrei
Kobyakov to Slovakia on 27-28 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian
Embassy in Slovakia.
During the five months since the official visit of Slovakia Prime
Minister Robert Fico to Belarus in November 2016, the two countries
prepared 10 documents for signing.
Thus, the heads of government of Belarus and Slovakia signed an
intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in science and technology.
Belarus' State Standardization Committee and the Slovak Office of
Standards, Metrology and Testing signed a memorandum of understanding on
cooperation in standardization, metrology and compliance assessment.
A memorandums of understanding and cooperation was concluded between
the Center for Examinations and Tests in Health Service (Belarus) and
the State Institute for Drug Control (Slovakia). Belarus' Emergencies
Ministry and the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic
signed a memorandum of information exchange and cooperation in nuclear
safety regulation.
During the Belarusian-Slovak business forum the cooperation
agreements were signed between the chambers of commerce of Belarus and
Slovakia, between the Belarusian National Agency for Investment and
Privatization and the Slovak Agency for Development, Investment and
Trade.
OAO Management Company of Horizont Holding Company inked a memorandum
of understanding on strategic partnership and cooperation with OMS spol
and Universal Media Corporation. The Belarusian State Technological
University concluded a memorandum to set up a consortium with Alexander
Dubcek University of Trencin, SV Engineering, Dupres Group. Brest
Electric Lamp Plant signed a framework agreement with the Slovak company
OMS spol.
