About 320-330 thousand tons of fresh vegetables, 160 thousand tons of potatoes, 370 thousand tons of fruits, fruits and berries are annually supplied to the domestic market of the country. The demand for basic types of fresh vegetables is satisfied most often at the expense of Belarusian products. In the trade networks, the share of fresh Belarusian potatoes is 93%, cabbage - 72%, beets - 96%, carrots - 89%, cucumbers - 89%. And berries the share of domestic products is only 8.4% in view of climatic conditions, but we are trying to correct this situation - gardens are planted every year, berries are grown, I think the situation will improve, "said Tatyana Krasniuk.
