Lukashenko: it is necessary to thoroughly study the issue of preserving the queue for those who have received a rented apartment

26.04.2018

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko answered the deputies' question whether it is possible to preserve the right for citizens to register for those who need to improve their housing conditions and after receiving rental housing, BelTA has learned.
The deputies said that at present, according to the law, citizens who have moved into rental housing are removed from the register of those who need to improve their housing conditions and, in fact, having stood in line for many years to build their own housing, this right is lost. Many voters raise the issue before the deputies to stay in the housing queue.
"I can answer this question from the point of view of today and those decisions that we adopted," the head of state stressed. The introduction of rental housing allowed in specific cases to solve the housing problem. Belarus also took into account the European experience.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that, taking into account emerging issues, it is necessary to consider together what kind of solution would be appropriate.
