The Chinese pharmaceutical company Humanwell intends to take advantage of the single drug market of the EAPS and build a plant in Belarus. The management of the company announced this today during a meeting with the Belarusian delegation, which participates in the international seminar "One belt, one way. Getting to Hubei", the correspondent of BELTA reports.
The Belarusian delegation, which included a representative of the administration of the Sino-Belarusian industrial park "Great Stone", today visited the Humanwell office. The guests got acquainted with the activity of this large pharmaceutical campaign, which is located in the city of Ichan, Hubei Province. Humanwell delivers medicines to several dozen countries around the world and is constantly expanding its outlets to international markets.
Three years ago the Humanwell leadership visited Minsk and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the "Great Stone". The Chinese company carefully studied the prospects of the market with an eye to building a new enterprise in the park. And now the pharmaceutical company is going to start discussing more detailed cooperation plans with the Belarusian side.
The international seminar "One belt, one way: getting acquainted with Hubei" is just designed to activate the Belarusian-Chinese economic ties in the most diverse areas of implementation of the "One belt, one way" concept. The Belarusian side at the seminar presented the investment and economic potential of the country and the Brest region, as well as the "Great Stone", which aroused great interest of Chinese companies. In total, about 100 enterprises and companies from Hubei province, representing various lines of activity, participate in the event.
The province of Hubei and the Brest region are developing old twin-city relations.
