Spring session of the Belarusian parliament opens on April 2

The sixth session of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the sixth convocation will open on April 2, BelTA informs.
As reported to the press service of the House of Representatives, the list of issues for consideration at the meeting includes 11 questions. In the first reading, the parliamentarians intend to consider amendments to the laws on labor protection, on the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons, on state awards. The opening session will also discuss amendments to a number of codes, including the Marriage and Family Code. The proposed changes to it include, in particular, linking the debt of alimony for unemployed parents to the budget of the subsistence minimum. In addition, on the opening day of the spring session, the parliamentarians will consider bills on criminalizing the inducement of doping and restricting access to online casinos.
In the second reading it is planned to consider the draft law "On Amendments to the Law on Legal Regulation of Housing Relations", amendments to the Law "On Waste Management."
The list of questions also provides for the ratification of the agreement on international treaties of the EAEU with third countries, international organizations or international integration associations.
In addition, parliamentarians will consider the issue of Decree No. 1 of January 18, 2019, which corrects Decree No. 29 of July 26, 1999 "On additional measures to improve labor relations, strengthen labor and executive discipline. " The document takes into account the changes in the wage structure of employees of state-financed organizations stipulated in Decree No. 27 of January 18, 2019
