Both leaders arrived in Minsk on the eve of a Collective Security Treaty Organization summit, which is scheduled for 23 November. The session of the CSTO Collective Security Council will be chaired by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko. Members of the council are expected to discuss topical problems of international and regional security, determine future tasks, and pass a number of documents geared towards ensuring collective security interests.
