The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection spoke about the symbolism of the logo for the Year of Improvement, BELTA reports.
The first element of the approved composition is a house. «It is a symbol and condition of human sustainability and productivity. The image of a house symbolizes safety, comfort, continuity of traditions and well-being. The second element is an oak leaf. It is a symbol of wisdom, strength, courage, endurance, longevity and nobility,» the press service of the department said.
Another element of the composition is the state border, which defines the boundaries of the territory of Belarus, namely land, water, subsoil, and airspace. «The image of this element symbolizes the national security of the Republic of Belarus, sovereignty, respect for the rights and freedoms of man and citizen,» the Ministry of Natural Resources noted.
