The campaign "Together - for a strong and healthy family" starts in Belarus

The republican campaign «Together — for a strong and healthy family», dedicated to Family Day, will start in Belarus on 12 May and will last until 17 May. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

The events of the campaign will cover all regions of the country and will include educational, cultural, sports and social initiatives.

Thus, among the nationwide events is the press conference «Belarus — for a healthy family!» in the National Press Center with the participation of large families. It will take place on 12 May and will mark the start of the campaign.

On 13 May, the international forum «Family — the basis of the demographic potential of the state» and a single day of consultation on family issues will take place. And on 15 May, the final of the competition for young military families «Family — the crystal of society» and the photo challenge «Family is ...» will take place. In the Central Children’s Park named after Gorky in Minsk on May 17 will host a republican family holiday with concerts and activities.

Activities will also be held in the regions. This is the honoring of gold and silver anniversaries of family life, the sportslandia «Family at the Start» for families with disabled children, exhibitions of creative works «Mom, Grandma and I — a Handicraft Family», open days in museums for large families.

In schools, there will be lessons on family values ​​and essay competitions. In universities — youth forums on the modern family, and in clinics — consultations on reproductive health.

Public organizations will also present their initiatives. This is the «Papa-Zal» project to strengthen the paternal role in the family, a festival of large families and the «Lord of the Village» competition, religious forums in support of traditional family values.

Particular attention will be paid to supporting large families and families with disabled children. As part of the campaign, free legal consultations and charity events will be held.

The events were organized with the participation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, local executive bodies and public associations.
