On May 15, a single lesson dedicated to Family Day will be held in educational institutions of Belarus. Such information is posted on the National Educational Portal, BELTA reports.
The content of the lesson is aimed at forming students’ ideas about family values, feelings of love and respect for family and close people, understanding the importance of the state policy of Belarus to support and strengthen the institution of family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood.
A sample lesson matrix is posted on the National Educational Portal. Children will reflect on why a person needs a family, how they understand the statement «A happy family is a strong state», why family support in the country is a national priority, how the state takes care of the well-being of the family. Family traditions and values will also be discussed during the lesson. Teachers are advised to take into account the age characteristics of students.
