The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus has set maximum minimum prices for goods sold under foreign trade contracts. The relevant resolution of the department dated July 15, No. 61, was published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BELTA reports.
The list of goods sold under foreign trade contracts, which is attached to the resolution, includes nine items. Maximum minimum prices are set for supplies of carcasses and half-carcasses of cattle (from young and adult cattle), fresh or chilled, frozen, other cuts of cattle, boneless, as well as milk and cream, condensed, powdered, granulated or other solid forms, with a fat content of no more than or more than 1.5%, including dry milk products. Maximum minimum prices are indicated for butter of various fat contents, low-fat and fat-free cheeses for melting, with a fat content below and above 45%.
At the same time, a gradation of prices is provided separately for different delivery directions: to Russia, other EAEU countries, CIS countries (except EAEU countries) and Georgia, as well as for countries outside the CIS (except Georgia).
The published document recognizes the Resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of July 7, 2025 No. 58 as invalid and entered into force on July 18. Contracts concluded before the entry into force of this resolution and that have not ceased to be valid are subject to compliance with the new standards, except for cases where payment has been made in full; the goods have been shipped in full or in part (in terms of payment for the goods actually shipped).
