The President of Syria will visit Belarus. The preparations for the visit were discussed during a meeting between Foreign Minister Sergei Martynov and the chief of the foreign political department of the Syrian Arab Republic Walid al Muallem. The Foreign Minister of Syria said that the basis for the preparation for the visit will be created within the next few months. He added, the details of the visit were also discussed with the co-chairman of the Belarusian-Syrian joint commission Economy Minister of Belarus Nikolai Zaichenko.
