Piotr Yelfimov has been chosen to present Belarus at Eurovision 2009, BelTA informs. Televoting took place on the Pervyi and Belarus-TV Channels on January 19 after the EuroFest finals of the Eurovision Song Contest qualifying round. Piotr Yelfimov’s song These Eyes That Never Lie (in English) took 11,475 votes. The audience gave 7,949 votes to Gunesh, 4,385 votes to Litesound and Dakota. Domenika and the band Veter v golove took the fourth and fifth place respectively. Eurovision 2009 contestant Piotr Yelfimov told reporters he was not going to change the song. The Eurovision 2009 Song Contest will take place in Moscow in May. БЕЛТА
