MINSK, February 16 (BelTA) - Producers from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, and Germany will take part in the V international expo World of Childhood at the national expo centre BelExpo of the Belarus Presidential Property Management Directorate on February 17-20, representatives of the Education Ministry told BelTA. Every year the expo gets bigger, more interesting and informative, gathers more participants and visitors. This year over 120 companies will showcase their products on around 5,000 square metres of expo area. The event will feature a wide range of children’s products. Specialists and visitors will be shown children’s and teenager’s apparel, footwear and accessories, baby food, products for future mothers and nursing mothers, hygiene products and cosmetics, toys, books, textbooks and periodicals for kids and a lot more. The exhibition is supposed to focus on the area of baby food, which will feature the make of Belgospischeprom concern, Bellakt, Orsha Tinned Meat Factory, Gomel Dairy Products, Rogachev Tinned Milk Factory and others. Visitors will be shown the latest goods on the market such as Japanese diapers, children safety products, education programmes for early development of kids, cloths, toys, childcare products. For the first time the expo will feature various shows, performances by a puppet theatre and illusionists, prize drawing. The business part of the expo includes many interesting and useful events, which are designed for pedagogues, medics, social workers, and interested parents. The Education Ministry will hold seminars for pre-school education specialists, while the Healthcare Ministry is getting ready to hold a seminar about healthy food for kids. The Interior Ministry will invite visitors to participate in a contest for traffic rules knowledge. The National Hygiene and Epidemiology Centre will arrange lectures about vaccination and disease prevention. Organised with assistance of the Education Ministry, the Healthcare Ministry, the Trade Ministry and Minsk City Hall, the expo will help advance the market of products and services for children, promote Belarusian brands, novelties and environmentally friendly products, establish direct ties and attract investments. Participants of the expo will be given an opportunity to study the market, assess its tendencies and dynamics, get familiar with and learn about new products by famous manufacturers. БЕЛТА
