MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – Universities and organizations of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences will present more than 180 sci-tech developments at the 11th Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments which will be held in the Russian capital on 26-29 August, BelTA learnt from the international sci-tech cooperation department of the Belarusian State Committee for Science and Technologies. Attending the exhibition will be the Belarusian State University, the Belarusian National University of Technology, the Metolit technological cluster of the Belarusian National Technical University, the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, the Centre for Materials and Components Science of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences, the Stepanov Institute of Physics and Technology of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences, other universities and research centres of the country. Visitors of the exhibition will be able to get familiar with the up-to-date developments of Belarusian scientists in the field of physics and electronics, power engineering, metalworking, ecology, nano- and biotechnologies, machine tool building, information technologies, other areas. During the exhibition, various workshops, roundtables and business meetings will be held. Representatives of the Belarusian delegation are expected to establish new contacts with Russian companies and industrial enterprises, conclude contracts for the supply of their services and products to the Russian market. The International Salon of Innovations and Investments will take place in Moscow, at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre. The Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments is the biggest in Russia and unique scientific and technical forum of inventors, creators and manufacturers of highly technological production, investment projects in the scientific and technological area and industry. The salon is conducted annually to promote the innovation activity development, Russian industry technical re-equipment, development of intellectual property market, patent and licensing activity improvement, pooling of interests of highly technological production inventors, creators and manufacturers and those of representatives of industrial and financial business in the Russian Federation, neighboring and non-CIS countries. In 2008 more than 600 exhibitors from 22 regions of the Russian Federation and 16 foreign countries took part in the Salon. БЕЛТА
