PRUZHANY DISTRICT, 7 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered to consider a possibility to manufacture Belarus-made self-propelled potato harvesters. He made this statement as he visited the Otechestvo company in Pruzhany District on 7 September, BelTA has learnt. The head of state noted that it is necessary to thoroughly analyze whether it makes economic sense to produce such machines in Belarus. If so, the harvester should be highly productive. Alexander Lukashenko assigned the task to Gomselmash. The President believes that Belarus could produce up to 200 self-propelled potato harvesters, of which some 150 could be used domestically and about 50 exported. БЕЛТА
